Estelle Webster, 23, of Carsic Road, admitted drink driving and failing to stop after an accident when she appeared at Mansfield court on Wednesday

The court heard her black Renault Clio was driven into the skip on a drive off Longhill Rise, in Kirkby, at 3.30am on July 30. She ran off but was arrested shortly afterwards.

A breath test revealed she had 72 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Sarah Neale, mitigating, told the court Webster, a single mum with a three-year-old child, had been on a night out with friends in Mansfield.

Her friends returned her home but she decided to go for a drive in a car that she borrowed from a friend while hers was off the road.

After the collision a woman came out of the house who was ‘quite irate’ and Webster ‘panicked’ and ran away.

She was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a victim surcharge of £30. She was banned for 20 months.
