DVD nets youngsters top prize in contest
An idea to create a DVD to help tackle shoplifting in their area has won youngsters from a Mansfield school first prize in a county-wide competition.
Pupils at King Edward Primary School had the idea following a visit from their local police community support officer. The competition entry was part of the “I Pledge to Keep on Track” youth crime prevention drive and the school received a £400 prize.
