A CRACKING annual drive to collect Easter eggs for a Hucknall charity is being run again by a funeral firm in the town.

Co-Operative Funeralcare is urging locals to bring chocolate Easter eggs to its Portland Road branch before Monday April 11.

The drive is in aid of The Hope Lea Project, a charity for adults with learning disabilities.

Bev Bullock, funeral arranger for the firm, said: “As a local business we want to help and support people within the community who, for whatever reason, need a bit of cheer this Easter.”

The collection of chocolate eggs will be presented to the charity’s service users next week.
