Emma's up for Miss Nottingham 2016
Emma Louise Tomlinson is one of 22 finalists chosen for the annual “beauty with a purpose” competition.
The winner of the 2016 Miss Nottingham gong, announced this Thursday, will represent the city for a year and also be entered for the Miss England competition, and potentially Miss World.

Hide AdEmma, 20, of Johnson Avenue, said: “I am currently a part-time model, and a full-time waitress at Saltwater in Nottingham.
“My plan for the furture is to become more successful in my modelling career and also to open up my own make-up business.
“I hopefully want to take my small makeup business and grow it to a Spa Place.”
Emma attended the Beardall Street Junior School and Holgate Academy, and is also a qualified beauty therapist, nail technician and hair stylist.

Hide AdShe said: “I am one of the 22 finalists for Miss Nottingham and I have always been interested in taking part and finally it’s happened!
“From a young age I have always done work for charity and helped my grandma with her charity events.
“When I was in year 7, I remember building a big Lego house out of bricks for a Children in Need charity event which raised over £600.”
Emma recently hosted a fundraiser at Rolls-Royce Leisure for the competition’s chosen charity, Hope Against Cancer. which raised a whopping £400 with a raffle, Tombola, crafts for kids and face painting.
