“MY, what a big audience you have!” was the reaction as youngsters of Crabtree Farm Primary School in Bulwell staged a colourful performance of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’.
A total of 65 children, aged eight and nine, took part in the production, which was based on Roald Dahl’s version of the famous fairytale.
Megan Ryan (nine) played the title role and Kayleigh Mann (also nine) wowed a full house as the Big Bad Wolf.
Teachers Mary Rick (producer) and Luke Edis (sound, lighting and music) put on the show with the help of teaching assistants and other staff.
Melanie Smith, of the school on Steadfold Close, said: “We have a tradition of good productions.
“The audience was the best-behaved we have had for a long time because everyone was so engrossed.
“We had a lot of support, and a big thankyou goes to everyone who took part in the production, both on stage and also behind the scenes.”
