Family of missing Samantha make emotional plea for her to get in touch

The family of a Mansfield woman missing since Monday have made an emotional plea for her to get in touch.

Samantha Clarke, 35, was last seen at around 9.30am in Church Street, in Mansfield, according to police.

Samantha’s brother Philip Passant, 37, today told Chad she had in fact left a friend’s house in South Normanton when she was last seen.

Phillip said: “All I want her to do is drop me a text. Her phone has been switched off since Sunday - it’s horrible.

“I know she is going through things in her life - I just want her to get in touch.

“I have been driving up and down service stations to try and find her.”

Samantha, who has a 21 -year-old daughter and a four-month-old grand daughter, has six sisters and four brothers.

Philip said: “We are trying to keep strong for each other.

He added: “She has been my rock and has been supportive through hard times.

“I really appreciate everything people have done to help us. Social media has been a great help.

“It has gone global - even our family and friends in Australia are doing what they can to help.

Samantha’s sister Carla made an emotional plea on Facebook.

Carla said: “Let us all know ur ok.... U dont have to come home we just want to know ur safe.... If anyone has seen her please let one of her family know!”

Samantha is white, of slim build and around 5ft 2ins tall. She has long, dark brown hair.

She was wearing a cream cardigan, white top and patterned trousers or leggings when she was last seen.

She may be travelling in a silver Peugeot 107.

Philip said the Peugeot has a pink dice on top of the aerial, and added his sister has a butterfly tattoo on her left wrist.

Anyone who may have seen Samantha or knows of her whereabouts is asked to telephone Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 909 of 9 May.
