A CALL has been made for traders in Hucknall to put their businesses in the spotlight — by signing up for a spot at the fast-approaching Ashfield Show.
The annual event at Sutton Lawn Park in Sutton will celebrate its 33rd anniversary on Saturday August 13.
It is one of the largest free community attractions in the East Midlands.
As well as entertainment, stalls, a funfair and spectacular live music, the show also boasts trade areas.
Now Hucknall companies are invited to apply for pitches at a variety of competitive rates that will give them access to up to 15,000 potential customers.
Charities that would like to showcase their organisations will be offered reduced rates.
Once again, the show is shaping up to be a bumper day of entertainment for the whole family.
Attractions will include a main arena with family acts all day, a big-top circus, horticulture competitions, food stalls and games for the children.
The day will culminate in a headline musical performance and a spectacular fireworks display.
The show, which is run by Ashfield District Council, will again be condensed into one day to save costs.
