Final call for pictures of park

The Friends of Yeoman Hill Park are looking for photographs of any sort depicting the park for the competition, but are particularly keen to receive images showing changes to the park or events that have taken place this year.

The photographs will be put in the time capsule that the group plan to bury at the beginning of next year, along with a record of the events that have taken place in the Park during 2014.

The time capsule has been sponsored by the Mansfield Building Society.

Vice chair Corinna Brown told Chad: “Most people have a camera on their phone and I’m sure there have been many photographs taken of the park as we have run many centenary events this year, and there have been other public events organised by other groups.

“Any photographs are welcome - we have some entries but we would love more.”

She added that the group plans to organise an exhibition of all submitted pictures before they are placed in the time capsule.
