Fire walk event for cancer support

A fire walk is being held at the One Call Stadium to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and corporate teams can take part if they raise a minimum of £150 sponsorship.

Event organiser Graham Parker, of Parker PR, said the challenge presented a great team building opportunity for businesses.

He added: ““We are looking for corporate teams to take on the challenge of their lives, to overcome their inner fear and achieve something remarkable - to walk on a bed of hot coals.”

The firewalk will take place in the evening of 8th April.

An on-site bar will be open during the evening and family and friends are welcome to attend. There will also be a professional photographer taking shots of people completing the challenge.

The event is part of Graham’s campaign to raise £6,800 for Macmillan in memory of his father.
