Firefighters tackle blaze at a Bulwell house
Firefighters tackled a house fire in Bulwell which was in danger of spreading to other properties.
Two fire engines from Stockhill attended the blaze on Merchant Street at 4.33 pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Fire Services said a rubbish fire had spread into a kitchen extension.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and the incident was closed at 6.04pm.
