Firefighters tackle '˜deliberate' blaze in Notts building
The building, which is a former control room, just off Blenheim Lane, between Hucknall and Bulwell, was left severely damaged by the fire.
Crews from Stockhill, Hucknall and Arnold were called to the building, which is approximately 10m x 15m at around 6.45pm on Sunday, January 31.

Hide AdAshley Fullard, acting watch manager at Stockhill station, who was incident commander at the scene, said that as soon as they arrived they realised it was “quite a serious incident as the building was fully involved in fire”.
He said: “The nearest hydrant to the building was half way up the lane so, with the help of crews from Arnold and Hucknall, we formed a water relay that was made up of around 22 lengths of hose.
“We then used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to fight the fire.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue said it is believed the fire was started deliberately.
The stop message was received at 9.40pm.
