Forest striker is tackled for speed
Striker Dexter Blackstock (28), of Hall Lane, was caught just before midnight on Saturday 11th January earlier this year. Blackstock was charged with clocking a speed of 52mph in his Audi car on the A52 Clifton Boulevard in Nottingham, which has speed limits of 40mph and 50mph.
Blackstock pleaded guilty. He was fined £130 and ordered to pay court costs of £85, plus a victim surcharge of £20. His licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
He signed from Queen’s Park Rangers for a seven-figure transfer fee in July 2009, and signed a new four-year contract in January 2013.
