FOREST TOWN: Bodies in garden suspects appear in court
A woman and her husband have appeared in court charged with the murders of an elderly couple found buried in a Forest Town garden last month.
Susan Edwards (55) and 57-year-old Christopher Edwards were at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday morning for a preliminary hearing.
They are accused of murdering Susan Edwards’ parents William and Patricia Wycherley, who disappeared from their Blenheim Close home in 1998.

Police launched a murder investigation after discovering two sets of human remains in the garden of the couple’s old house on 9th October.
Tests have revealed that the bodies discovered there had been shot.
The Edwards, of no fixed address, were arrested at St Pancras in London on 30th October.
On Friday, they were remanded in custody again until 23rd December. A provisional trial date has been set for 2nd June next year.
