Forest Town: Funeral firm do their bit for Movember

Members of staff have at the Forest Town funeral directors have raised £600.00 by getting family, friends and business acquaintances to sponsor them not to shave during November.

All money raised is being given to the official Movember charity aiding research into men’s prostate and testicular cancer.

Director Tony Ingham said: “We often take part in charity events raising much-needed funds for the local community and have a remembrance tree every year over December.

This December we will be raising funds for League of Hospital friends, but we first wanted to take part in Movember to help raise awareness of some of the health risks men may face.”
