FOREST TOWN: motorcyclist killed in collision

A motorcyclist has died following a road crash in Forest Town this morning (Monday 20 January).

The Mansfield man collided with a central reservation in Crown Farm Way, Crown Farm Industrial Estate, at around 7.30am.

He suffered multiple serious injuries and died on his way to hospital.

Police are urging anyone who saw the crash, or believes they know what happened in the moments leading up to the collision, to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101.

The road is currently closed while police carry out their enquiries but will be reopened later this morning.
