FREE advertising for fledgling local businesses

THE Dispatch is offering the chance of FREE advertising and expert advice to fledgling businesses in the Hucknall and Bulwell area.

As reported last month, the bold and exciting initiative is called Local Business Accelerators (LBA).

Regional and local newspapers across the country, including your Dispatch, are delivering a huge boost to UK business by pledging an unprecedented £15 million of free advertising to the most dynamic fledgling enterprises.

The idea has the backing of Deborah Meaden, one of the judges from the hit BBC TV show, ‘Dragons’ Den’. We are searching for the most promising young businesses in the Dispatch district and want to help them accelerate their success with top professional advice from local business mentors — plus a substantial allocation of free advertising space in the pper.

Deborah says: “I’ve seen the unique contribution that the local Press makes to the success of local businesses time and again with my own ventures.”

LBA is open to all businesses that are active in the local community, between one and three years old and full of potential. They may have a great idea or product, or even found a new market. They’re the kind of businesses that will create new jobs and individually they will create pride in the community.

Members of the local business community and Dispatch representatives will form the judging panel and review the entries before awarding the winners with the prize of free advertising and business advice.
