Messy Monkeyz, which launched last month at Blidworth Community Leisure Centre, is applying for Ofsted rated status to become a nursery.

To celebrate Victoria Staples, mum-of-three who launched the venture, wants to get more families involved by offering a free day pass to all Chad readers in partnership with the leisure centre.

She said: “We are currently going through Ofsted registration so that parents can leave their children here for longer while they work out or run other errands.

“We hope to be up and running as a full nursery by September and really hope we get the rating.

“We are also offering a free gym pass to use the gym and the leisure centre’s classes as some people don’t even know it is there.”

Victoria held a community open day for the group on 7th April which had a positive reaction from the surrounding areas parents.

She said: “I am targeting mums in particular around the local area who are struggling to make time to exercise by removing those child care barriers.

“There isn’t really any facilities like this in the three areas of Rainworth, Ravenshead and Blidworth.

“The community open day was great because it was about bringing the community together and getting that strong community spirit back.

To use the gym as part of the free day pass offer, phone 01623 466 266 for a free induction.

No induction is needed to use the leisure centre’s classes.
