French day at Cornerhouse

Staff at Sanctuary Supported Living’s Corner House, on St Margaret Street, have been organising activities and discussions about France as part of a week of culturally-themed activities for residents.

Residents helped cook a range of national recipes including French fancies and coq au vin, while also learning more about the geography of the country and taking part in a colouring exercise.

Manager Jo Hardwick said: “Learning about different countries has been a nice way for our residents to try a range of different activities. This has provided a perfect chance to try something new.”

Corner House provides residential care for up to 12 people with learning disabilities, as well as floating support to people’s homes.
