Fresh new look as YOUR Dispatch gets re-launched

Your Dispatch is about to get better than ever with a new look and fresh approach.

This is the final edition of the Dispatch in its current format as next Friday will see it re-launched in a new design format.

It will feature all the news, sport and leisure that you have come to expect from your dedicated town newspaper but it will have a facelift bringing it up to date.

Friday February 22 sees the exciting revamp and re-launch hit the newsagents. As well as a refreshing new look, the improved story and picture format will enhance the paper’s overall appearance, guaranteeing a much easier read.

We have asked your advice on what you want to continue to see in your Dispatch and what you would prefer to go and we have come up with a product that will still include many of your favourite items.

We will continue to be first with the news as it happens both in print and on our website at

And sport will continue to be featured with the latest results from Hucknall Town, our horse racing news and all the other sporting groups who contribute each week to our columns.

The library story surgeries will continue giving you the opportunity to meet our reporters face to face and tell them your news, concerns and campaigns.

Drop by Hucknall’s Market Place library on Tuesdays from 9.30-11.30am and Friday from 10-12 noon.

Here you can meet reporters Karla Hall and Jackie Derbyshire who are waiting to make your news a headline story.

It is a chance to meet up in a friendly informal fashion and tell us what is happening in your community, street or workplace.

Whether it is a charity fundraiser, breaking news, campaign launch or golden wedding, we will be happy to discuss with you further and raise awareness and tell the district what is happening.
