Fridge magnets help to fight crime in Ladybrook
The magnets have been produced and delivered as part of a Mansfield Partnership Against Crime (MPAC) project which has seen Police Community Safety Officers visit homes throughout the area to deliver them, along with copies of a booklet produced by Mansfield District Council (MDC) about ASB and where to report it.
The most recent figures available show that levels of ASB in Ladybrook are down more than a fifth compared to last year, with 132 incidents having been reported by the end of November 2014 compared with 171 in 2013.

Inspector Mark Webster, responsible for policing in the area said: “We are very pleased to see the reduction in ASB calls. Actions organised and funded through the Partnership Plus group, including providing activities for young people, are helping with this.
“We hope that the ASB booklets will further reduce the number of calls, as they will help people to understand what ASB is, and to call the right number, first time.”
