Friends tee off with cancer charity golf fundraising drive
Three golf-loving friends completed a marathon effort on the green to raise cash for a cancer charity.
Friends Chris Edmonds, Alan Paver and John Fountain spent a Saturday in July completing four full rounds of golf at Coxmoor Golf Course, Hollingwell Golf Course, Alfreton Golf Course and Brierley Forest Golf Course.
Collecting for Macmillan Cancer Support, they commenced play at 5.20am at Coxmoor, and finished at 9.40pm at Brierley Forest.
So far, they have raised £1,650 for the charity.
