A fundraising event for the Chemotherapy Ward at Nottingham City Hospital helped raised more than £200.

Activities at St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church Hall in Hucknall included a glitter tattoos and confectionery stall, a party interiors stall, cake and tombola stall and face painting stall.

A balloon man was busy creating many types of animals and objects from many different coloured balloons of all shapes and sizes including Minnie Mouse.

County Councillor for Hucknall, John Wilmott, said: “There was an excellent attendance in appreciation of the fine work done by this special hospital ward.”
