Funds needed for coffee lounge

Takeover Radio 106.9, need to raise £2,500 by June 29 to be able to secure funding for the coffee lounge.

The community coffee lounge will be aimed at young people in the Ashfield area and will also house the community radio station.

It will serve coffee, tea, sandwiches and snacks during the day, and present local music in the evenings as a place to young people to socialise.

Phil Riley, Funding Development Officer said “Not only will the campaign help raise crucial funds, but it will also be a great way to let the wider community know what Takeover Radio is doing and to remind people what we are about - which is essentially supporting the young people of Ashfield.“
