The town’s Geri-Hat-Tricks Walking Football Group presented Rolls Royce Frame Football Club with a cheque for £350 before a training session, at Kimberley Leisure Centre, last Sunday.

Pete Stevenson, of the Geri-Hat-Tricks, said: “After our weekly sessions we throw a few coins in a coffee jar and at the end of the year donate the proceeds to a worthy charity.

“We joined in with the training session before the frame footballers kicked off for a competitive match and were very impressed by the enthusiasm of the children and how much enjoyment they gained from the experience.”

The pioneering club from Hucknall gives children who use frames for support the chance to play the game.”
