Green fingered children team up to tidy up
Youngsters have teamed up to look after their green spaces.
Children from Holgate Academy and Holgate Primary and Infant School took part in a litter pick and bulb planting session at the Holgate Academy School Green Space.
The ADC Environment Team donated some daffodil bulbs towards the project, and school staff and officers from Ashfield District Council also got their hands dirty and do some planting, along with Hucknall county councillor John Wilmott.
Councillor Wilmott commented: “The green space area is now looking very clean and tidy.”
