Hair raising challenge for nurse

Dedicated nurse Chris Majid bared all this week to raise awareness and cash for dementia care.

The lead mental health nurse on ward 52 at King’s Mill Hospital pushed his pain threshold to the limit to raise £461.94.

Hair was waxed from his legs, back and chest by staff at Kings Mill Hair and Beauty Salon.

Cash will go towards refurbishing wards in the Trust to make them more dementia-friendly.
