Have you seen missing Ashfield man?

Matthew Clarke (22) who is from the Ashfield area, went missing just before 3pm.

Members of the public are asked not to approach Matthew but if you see him or know of his whereabouts please call police immediately on 101.

Matthew is white, 6 ft 4 ins tall, and of a heavy build with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing black Adidas jogging bottoms, a grey and white polo shirt, a black fleece and white trainers.

Sergeant Richard Cornell said: “Matthew is quite distinctive due to his height. Have you seen him? We are concerned for his safety and need to find him as soon as we can. If you know where he is please call us.”

It is believed Matthew may be intending to travel into Nottingham or London.
