Healthy lifestyle event a success

Patient Participation Groups (PPG) from two GP surgeries in Eastwood hosted their fourth healthy lifestyle event at the Dora Phillips Hall.

As part of the Government’s Change for Life initiative, the PPGs from Church Walk and Church Street practices offered locals the chance to have health checks, blood pressure tests and chat to doctors and nurses.

Members of Breathe Easy, New Leaf, Cardiac Support, Slimming World and CRL Alcohol and Drugs Rehabilitation groups, among others, provided informative information and advice.

There was face painting and arts and crafts for the kids.
