HGV driver challenges drink drive charge in Worksop
An HGV driver who was caught over the limit in Worksop told magistrates that he disputed the findings of a breath test.
Jarlath Thomas Rogers, 36, of Cranmore Place, Sligo, Ireland, pleaded not guilty to driving while over the alcohol limit when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The court heard that a breath test revealed he had 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
A trial date was set for September 28.
