Scott Shearer – 7: Solid on the day and pulled off a couple of good saves, had no chance with the goal.
Rhys Bennett – 7: Worked hard and got involved going forward well.
Krystian Pearce – 7: Battled bravely on after an early cut head and defended solidly.
Kyle Howlins – 7: Some excellent defending once again from the West Brom loanee.
Alex Iacovitti – 6: Confident and solid, played well without any major moments.

Lee Collins – 7: As always the skipper led by example and worked tirelessly. But he did allow Charlie Lee to get away from him for the header for Stevenage’s first goal. Chased hard to catch McKirdy for the winner but few players would have caught him.
Chris Clements – 6: Tried his best to spray the passes as usual, but things didn’t go for him on the day.
Mal Benning – 6: Pushed up to left midfield, Benning was expected to get in more crosses than he did and he also missed two good headed chances, though was heavily involved throughout.
Kevan Hurst - 6: Put in a couple of excellent crosses, but struggled to get much change out of the opposition on the day.
Matt Green – 6: After a great run of goals and success, this was a much quieter afternoon for the club’s top scorer who rarely troubled the keeper.
Pat Hoban – 7: Got stuck in during a very physical game and was rewarded with his first home goal. A gutsy display.
Jack Thomas (for Iacovitti 49mins) 6: A positive move by boss Adam Murray to throw on Thomas for a defender and he did add some momentum for the home side.
Danny Rose (for Hoban 73mins) 6: Tried to get involved but not his day.
Darius Henderson (for Hurst 65) 6: Used his muscle to unsettle the visitors’ defence and almost netted an equaliser near the end.
