A jobs fair for people in Hucknall is being organised by the town’s MP.
The free event will be held at the John Godber Centre on 11th October.
A number of top employers for will be in attendance, including New College Nottingham, Severn Trent, The Post Office, Mansfield District Council, Tesco, Network Rail, the Regular British Army and many more.
Mr Spencer said: “Job creation is always a top priority to a Member of Parliament and is particularly close to my heart as a Nottinghamshire employer.
“I run a family business in Lambley and employ local people so it is always my number one objective to try and boost employment in the constituency.”
Mr Spencer believes the government’s Work Program, apprenticeships and other forms of training are all helping people to get people back into work and unemployment continues to fall.
He added: “I have organised a Jobs Fair to give anyone who wants the best possible chance to find work, change jobs or simply network with employers.”
Anyone living in the Sherwood Constituency or nearby is welcome ro attend.
