Hucknall murder victim Denise Williamson died of stab wounds

A woman who died after she was found seriously injured at a house in Hucknall has been named.

Denise Williamson (44) was found at around 8.50pm on Friday at her home on Hazelwood Drive.

Police say she had suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at hospital shortly afterwards.

A Home Office post-mortem examination revealed she died as a result of stab wounds.

Officers say a 52-year-old man, who was detained at the scene, remains under arrest on suspicion of her murder.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have seen or been in contact with Denise in the last few weeks to contact them.
