Hucknall’s Titchfield Park is the place to be tomorrow for lots of family-filled fun and frolics.
The Fun Factor is a parent group which provides play opportunities for youngsters throughout the year.
This annual fun day has become a date not to be missed for a great day out in the school holidays.
There is plenty to do with activities and games organised as well as stalls, bouncy castle, animals from White Post Farm, drumming and crafts.
The event runs from 11am-2pm on the cricket pitch field.
Many different groups will be in attendance including Hucknall’s Specsavers store who will be raising awareness for the need to get children’s eyesight checked as well as providing colouring opportunities with their Moshi Monster kits. Hello Kitty will also be in attendance.
“We are hoping that lots of people will pop along and see us and Hello Kitty on Wednesday,” said Janet Archer, store director of Hucknall Specsavers.
“It’s worrying to hear that almost a quarter (23 per cent) of parents with a child aged between three and 12 are yet to have had their vision tested.
“The summer holidays offer the opportunity for parents to ensure they get their kids’ eyes checked – highlighting any problems they may have before returning to school.”
