Idlewell’s spa day competition joy
There was an unexpected Mother’s Day surprise for Simone Swift - when she discovered she had won her mum a spa day for two, in a competition on Facebook.
Simone, aged 46, entered the competition on the Idlewells Shopping Centre’s Facebook page along with over 100 other hopeful entrants. In answer to the question ‘Why does your mum deserve a perfectly pampered spa day?” Simone said: “Everybody’s mum deserves a spa day because everyone’s mum is special.”
Mother of five, Margaret Swift will enjoy a full day of pampering at the Eden Hall Day Spa. She said: “I’m so excited, I never win anything.” She will use it to celebrate her 70th birthday.
