Inner Wheel is Well Versed at meeting
Members of Hucknall’s Inner Wheel were entertained with amusing tales and jokes from John Uttley of Well Versed and Nottingham Arts Theatre fame at their October meeting.
He was a welcome visitor to the club on a dark, damp evening and President Carolyn presented John with a cheque towards his support of town centre Motorised Scooters.
A total of over £300 was raised at a recent coffee evening held at the President’s home and this will go towards the purchase of wheelchairs which will be presented to a local surgery later in the year.
The Inner Wheel Organisation is celebrating 90 years of service this year and the Association President is encouraging members to raise funds for “The Wheels Project”.
