Is snow on the way in Notts next week?
Snow is not on the way – despite national newspaper claims.
The Daily Express reports today that a lengthy spell of extreme and potentially devastating winter weather is just around the corner, with blizzards, record-low temperatures and polar gales.
However, a Met Office spokesman said: “There won’t be any snow in Nottinghamshire next week. There might be a light dusting over the Scottish Highlands but that’s nothing unusual.
“Next week will feel cold in comparison to the recent very mild weather.”
