It’s time for tea as soroptimists boost Gambian project

More than 60 guests were welcomed to the Mansfield Soroptimist Club’s garden tea party, which was hosted by Doctor and Mrs Dale.

Attendees spent generously at the garden stall, provided by Colin Etches, cake stall, card stall and on a raffle, raising £863 in total for two charities.

The first is the Maternal and Childcare Advocacy International (MCAI), the organisation’s partner in ‘The Big Project’, which assists with birthing in Gambia.

The  other is Program Action, where money will be utilised locally, nationally and internationally.
