Katie’s painting will be on display
A Budding Mansfield artist is moving from strength to strength after her latest work was chosen to be displayed at an art exhibition.
Katie Rickersey who is 35 years old and has Down’s Syndrome is overjoyed after her latest painting The painting named Simply B will feature at Heat and Sold, a special exhibition in Macclesfield for artists with Downs Syndrome.
Over the last few years Katie has developed amazing artistic skills and her work has been exhibited in London, Keswick, and Macclesfield and shortly in New York, USA. Her Dad Stewart said: “Katie is absolutely delighted - it is her fourth exhibition and her talent is developing all the time.”
