Kelham Hall near Newark, is set to be transformed from council offices into a hotel, spa and conference centre.

The Grade I-listed Nottinghamshire hall used as council offices for four decades has been sold to Kelham Hall Ltd and the deal is planned to create 80 new jobs

Jonathan Pass, owner of Kelham Hall Ltd, said: “This is a really exciting time for Kelham Hall.

“Our plans will bring the Hall to life, giving people the opportunity not just to visit but to stay in this historic building. In the future we will be able to offer quality accommodation, restaurants and bars.”
