Alpha Rail hopes that the competition will be of benefit to schools that are considering a revamp over the summer.

The winner will be able to save money whilst also getting a professionally-designed 3D drawing to bring their ideas to life as part of the prize.

They say it is also a great way to engage school pupils by asking them to submit their ideas for the bespoke artwork the school could incorporate into their project.

Sales director Phil Ball said: “We offer a range of traditionally styled vertical bar metal railing options.

“Metal railings offer greater value for money because they last longer, require less maintenance and are much more aesthetically pleasing than other options such as mesh systems or spiked top palisade fencing.

“Introducing coloured laser profiled themes on railings allows schools to feature designs done by the children themselves. This helps give everyone a sense of pride and belonging which will last for many generations.”
