Kirkby singer hailed for success by Chad readers

Chad readers have congratulated Kirkby opera singer Lucy Kay after she moved into the final of Britain’s Got Talent last night following a stunning performance which wowed the judges.

The Cantamus singer Lucy received a standing ovation from the audience and the judges during the third semi-final of the hit ITV show.

Judge Alesha Dixon looked to be particular moved by the song as she seemed to be wiping tears from her eyes while Lucy was performing.

As the audience gave her a standing ovation, Lucy seemed to be overcome with emotion and couldn’t take in the praise heaped on her by the judges.

Mark Limer said on Chad’s Facebook page: “Well done Lucy, brilliant.”

While Mark Derbyshire said: “It’s the best thing that happened to Kirkby since they knocked down the railway pub.”
