Knife threat man spared jail

A teenager who threatened a woman with a knife in Bulwell has received a suspended sentence.

Liam Ashley Davis, 18, of the YMCA on Shakespeare Street in Nottingham, admitted assaulting Victoria Clarke in Bulwell on November 3 and 4.

Nottingham magistrates sentenced him to a total of 14 weeks, suspended for 12 months, because he picked up a knife and made threats during the attack.

He must also carry out a rehabilitation activity for 12 days, pay a victim surcharge of £80, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.
