Lovelace Theatre in the limelight
None of us really grow old when it comes to enjoying a pantomime, so Peter Panto was the appropriate title of Lovelace Theatre Group's 2016 traditional offering at Hucknall's John Godber Centre.
The classic story featured engaging performances from Keira Vann as Peter, Rebecca Mitchell as Wendy, and Richard Alton as the swashbuckling Captain Hook, who thought Hucknall should be renamed HOOKnall.
The production was a triumph of teamwork, giving youngsters plenty of chances to shine, and Tom Morley’s witty script helped to keep the action moving over a record number of seven performances which attracted enthusiastic full houses.
