A man has been charged in connection with stabbing in Mansfield

It happened in Newgate Lane around 2.10pm on Tuesday 17th March, where a 35-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were attacked after entry was forced inside an address.

The man remains in hospital in a stable condition, having sustained a stab wound. The injuries are not life-threatening. The woman sustained minor injuries.

Richard Lambert, of no fixed address, is set to appear before Mansfield magistrates today (Thursday 19th March) charged with Section 18 wounding, actual bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon.
