MANSFIELD: American trip for store worker

A Mansfield supermarket worker has been handpicked to travel to America next month, to represent his store at an annual shareholder’s conference.

Gary Young, who works at Asda in Mansfield, was handpicked to travel to the United States to speak to Walmart shareholders, in recognition of his hard work.

Gary said: “I couldn’t believe it when I found out that I’d been nominated to attend this year’s conference to represent Asda and my local area.

“I’m very excited about going to the USA and I can’t wait to meet some of my international colleagues.”

Gary will have the chance to meet Walmart staff from as far afield as India, China and Canada when he travels to the conference in Arkansas.
