Mansfield and Ashfield Breathe Easy group set to meet at Towers

PEOPLE who suffer from lung conditions are invited to go along to a meeting organised by the Breathe Easy Mansfield and Ashfield group.

Figures show that 4,000 people in Mansfield and Ashfield suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis, and many more do not yet know they have the condition.

The meeting will take place on 14th May at the Towers on Botany Road in Mansfield at 1.30pm and refreshments will be provided.

The guest speakers will be Professor Richard Hubbard and respiratory nurse specialist Julie Coulson, who will give information on living with a lung condition.

There will also be a question and answer session as well as the chance to find out more about the support available for people with lung disease in the area.

Breathe Easy Mansfield and Ashfield is a support group for people affected by lung conditions as well as their friends, family and carers. The group is part of the British Lung Foundation.
