Mansfield and Ashfield Pubs win platinum status in the Loo of the Year awards
Three Wetherspoon pubs in and around Mansfield have won acclaim for the quality and standards of their toilets in the Loo of the Year Awards 2014.
The Stag & Pheasant in Clumber Street, Mansfield, The Picture House in Fox Street, Sutton in Ashfield and The Regent in Diamond Avenue, Kirkby-in-Ashfield have each been awarded a platinum star rating by inspectors - the highest award possible.
John Previll, manager of The Stag & Pheasant, said: “I am delighted with the award. Staff at the pub work hard to ensure the toilets are in a first-class conditional at all times and it is great that this has been recognised by the inspectors.”
The awards are aimed at highlighting and improving standards of ‘away from home’ toilet provision across the UK.
