Jeffery Heeley had already been warned not to return to an address in Mansfield after complaints about noise from a neighbour, but he came back at 1.45am, on June 23.

Prosecutor Donna Fawcett said: “He shouted - “You’re a f****** vulture, I’ll f****** kill you.””

He was carrying a metal bar and later gave a no-comment interview to police.

“But he conceded he shouldn’t have gone out, and offered to pay a penalty” she added.

He was last before the courts in August 2017, for drink driving, but had previous convictions from 2013 and 2010 for other disorder matters.

Andrew Bostock, mitigating, said Heeley had mental and psychological difficulties and was “unable to control his emotions in stressful circumstances.”

“There were a number of people drinking in the local community,” Mr Bostock said. “His partner was at one of the addresses.

“He was concerned about her alcohol intake. He kept going backwards and forwards to the address.

“He disputes he was carrying a metal bar.”

Heely, 43, of Elston Close, admitted disorderly conduct, when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court, on Friday.

He was fined £55 and ordered to pay a government surcharge of £30 and £85 costs.
