Mansfield OAP choir Woodleigh Warblers need your votes in national Care Home Idol competition

The Woodleigh Warblers, a choir with a combined age of 1,300, is hoping their song will win a national talent competition.

Residents at the Woodleigh Christian Care Home in Mansfield hope to win the Care Home Idol title with their version of Sleep Little Child.

Kirsty May-Heath administration manager said: “We took part last year and had a successful entry coming third throughout the nation. As you can understand we were very proud!

“We have submitted our entry for this year “Sleep little child” which was performed on Saturday 6th December at our winter warmer concert at Chesterfield Road south Methodist church with an audience of friends and family.”
