MANSFIELD: Polish man jailed for shop theft.

Alexsander Jargielo, 35, from Mappleton Drive, committed the offence on 23rd December while on police bail, the court heard.

The Polish national was also subject to a community order and the court was told by probation staff that he had not been co-operating during appointments.

Sentencing, District Judge Diane Baker said: “Custody is the only appropriate action because this was an offence committed whilst on bail.

“This was another theft committed while you were serving a community order for theft.”
